Boquete is a small town in the western highlands of Panama in the province of Chiriqui on the Caldera River. Surrounded by green land and mountains, Boquete has become a popular destination for bird watchers, travellers and adventurous activities, being a paradise to be in for many people who visit this destination.

Boquete has a tropical climate, with two basic seasons for Panama. The dry season, which are the months ranging from November-April, and the rainy and wet season, which are months May- October.

The climate for Boquete is much the same throughout the year with temperatures ranging between 60° and 90° (Fahrenheit)

Day light hours tend not to vary much due to the position of Panama being only 9 degrees off the equator. Sunrise is usually around 6:00am in the morning, with the sunset around 7:00pm in the evening.

Boquete is well-known for having the highest Volcano in Panama, the Valcan Baru. The volcano has been dormant for many years, giving the perfect opportunity to climb and hike to the top at 3,475 meters to see the beauty of Panama in a panoramic view. This is one of the only place you can see both the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans at the same time.
